David Wexler, CLU, ChFC, AEP®

David Wexler, CLU, ChFC, AEP® is a partner of Greenberg, Wexler & Eig, LLC. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds his Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses.

David began working on qualified and non-qualified retirement plans in 1978. His focus on the firm is on the quantitative analysis parts of new plan design or existing plan design improvements. David has served as an expert witness in two trials, and has been a main platform speaker at the American Society of Pension Actuaries and several M Financial Group marketing meetings. David has been a guest lecturer at the George Washington School of Law and the Georgetown University Law Center LLM program on life insurance in estate planning. He has published numerous articles in industry and trade journals.

David has been featured in Washingtonian Magazine as part of an article titled, “They Know Money,” which identifies Top Money Advisors. David has also been selected as a Top Financial Professional in Northern Virginia Magazine.

David is a member of AALU, NAIFA, the American Society of Financial Services Professionals, and the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council. David is an AALU Ambassador, served as vice chair of the Ambassador Program and is currently the chair of the Wealth Transfer Committee. He is a past president of the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council, served as Chairman of the Estate Journal Club of the Suburban Hospital Foundation, a Trustee and Finance Chair of the Suburban Hospital Foundation and has organized and successfully promoted several charity fold tournaments for these organizations.

David has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Denver. He received his CLU and ChFC designations from The American College, has certificates in Personal Insurance Planning and Business Insurance Planning from the Life Underwriters Training Council and received the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) from the National Association of Estate Planning Councils.

David is married to Marge, has one son, two stepdaughters, and three grandchildren. Some of his hobbies include travelling, golfing, collecting wine, cooking, and collecting shells. He has sung the National Anthem at the Washington Nationals baseball game as a member of the Singing Capital Chorus.
